I am Ruvimbo, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. I've worked in HR across a range of industries and with businesses of all sizes, but qualifications are not what drive me or my passion for people.
What drives me is connection: real connection between a business and the people who show up for it every day. I want to know your business properly. Not just the version you put in a slide deck, but the real version: the decisions that keep you up at night, the member of staff you have been meaning to have a word with, and the vision you have for where this is going compared with where things currently sit.
That gap, between people who are present and people who are truly invested, is the most expensive problem most businesses are not measuring. It shows up in the staff member who leaves after six months, in the manager who avoids the performance conversation, and in the team that does exactly what is asked and nothing more.
